Doron Langberg paints intimate, deeply luminous figurative compositions that celebrate queer domesticity, physical sensuality, and tender interpersonal relationships. Applying rich, translucent layers of oil paint with sweeps, stains, and gestural marks, Langberg renders lovers, friends, and family bathed in radiant daylight, contributing powerfully to the ongoing renaissance of queer figurative painting.
