Haffendi Anuar is a Malaysian contemporary sculptor whose practice examines post-colonial architectural forms, urban infrastructure, and male sartorial rituals in Southeast Asia. Deconstructing traditional kain pelikat sarongs and ceramic tiled architectural pilotis, his colorful modular sculptures interrogate post-colonial identity and masculinity.
