Helen Pashgian is a pioneering master of the southern California Light and Space movement of the 1960s. Casting translucent epoxy resin discs, spheres, and columns containing hidden, reflective acrylic elements, Pashgian's minimalist sculptures appear to capture and refract light internally, creating mysterious optical apparitions that transform with viewer motion.
