Inka Essenhigh paints fluid, surreal dreamscapes inhabited by anthropomorphic creatures, mythological deities, and undulating botanical elements. Transitioning from early graphic enamel abstractions inspired by anime, comic illustration, and industrial gloss to rich, atmospheric oil paintings, Essenhigh blends classical European fairy tales with contemporary pop culture sensibilities, capturing a magical, supernatural animation in everyday environments.
