Javier Calleja

Javier Calleja is an internationally renowned Spanish contemporary artist celebrated for big-eyed, cartoon-like characters rendered with watercolored transparency and ironic, optimistic text captions. Playing with scale through miniature wall interventions and giant fibreglass sculptures, Calleja infuses everyday situations with humor and innocence.
