Jim Lambie is a Scottish artist and musician nominated for the Turner Prize in 2005. Lambie transforms gallery architectures with vibrant geometric installations composed of strips of multi-colored vinyl electrical tape ('Zobop') hugging floor perimeters. Combining rock music ephemera, broken mirrors, and record sleeves, Lambie translates sonic energy into visual rhythm.
