João Castilho is a Brazilian artist working at the intersection of photography, landscape sculpture, and literature. His photographic series capture raw natural elements—red dirt, wild animals, and burning vegetation—interrogating Brazilian territorial politics, ecological tension, and mythological frontier narratives.
