John Bock is a German artist associated with Contemporary performance. Across Performance; sculpture; film, the work investigates absurd lectures, handmade machines and invented vocabularies used to turn explanation itself into chaotic theater. Meaning develops through the relationship between process, display and lived cultural experience rather than through a single signature motif.
