Jonathan Monk

Jonathan Monk is a British artist associated with Conceptual art. Across Conceptual art; photography; sculpture, the work investigates art-historical gestures restaged with humor and personal detail to test originality, memory and institutional repetition. Meaning develops through the relationship between process, display and lived cultural experience rather than through a single signature motif.
