Justin Matherly is an American artist associated with Contemporary sculpture. Across Sculpture, the work investigates classical fragments and bodily supports reconstructed in concrete and mobility equipment to make monumentality feel physically dependent. Meaning develops through the relationship between process, display and lived cultural experience rather than through a single signature motif.
