Karin Sander is a pioneering conceptual artist whose minimal interventions, 3D body scans, and site-responsive transformations reveal latent architectural and institutional structures. Famous for works such as 'Polished Wall Pieces' (sections of drywall buffed to mirror finishes), 'Mailed Paintings' (blank canvases shipped without packaging, absorbing the postal journey's grime), and 3D mini-sculptures of gallery visitors, Sander questions authorship, exhibition etiquette, and the readymade.
