Kim Yun Shin is a pioneering first-generation Korean woman sculptor who relocated to Argentina in 1984 to work with dense native hardwoods. Directly carving massive logs with chainsaws and chisels into architectural totems based on the Taoist philosophy of 'Add Two, Divide Two', Kim's powerful sculptures explore the balance between material void and physical presence.
