Laura Belém is an acclaimed Brazilian conceptual artist whose site-specific installations, sound works, and delicate sculptural interventions examine memory, cultural displacement, and forgotten architecture. Representing Brazil at the 51st Venice Biennale and the 2006 São Paulo Biennial, her poetic installations engage physical acoustic environments and collective history.
