Mary Weatherford is a celebrated American abstract painter renowned for monumental, atmospheric Flashe-painted canvases mounted with hand-bent electrified neon light tubes. Capturing the neon glow of Bakersfield highways, coastal fog, and post-war California light, Weatherford's glowing lines transform abstract expressionism into sculptural spatial declarations.
