Oscar Tuazon creates rugged, monumental sculptures and functional architectural structures that merge do-it-yourself survivalist ingenuity with minimalist and Brutalist aesthetics. Constructing pavilions, domes, and climbing scaffolding out of industrial concrete, timber beams, steel pipes, and salvaged glass, Tuazon probes the politics of public infrastructure and alternative living. His ongoing initiative, the 'Water School', explores water rights and ecological stewardship through nomadic architectural classrooms.
