Paweł Althamer is a Polish artist associated with Contemporary sculpture; social practice. Across Sculpture; performance; social practice, the work investigates figurative sculpture and participatory projects that blur art, community, self-portraiture and collective action. Meaning develops through the relationship between process, display and lived cultural experience rather than through a single signature motif.
