Ricardo Brey is a Cuban-Belgian artist celebrated for cosmological sculptural vitrines, intricate paper works, and assemblages infused with Afro-Cuban mythology, philosophical alchemy, and natural history. Incorporating feathers, bone, dust, and metal, his poetic relic-boxes examine spiritual systems and displacement.
