Robert Zandvliet is a Dutch painter who deconstructs classical painting genres—landscapes, horizons, still lifes, and stones—into sweeping, calligraphic brushstrokes and radiant color fields. Exploring the physical velocity of paint on canvas, his work bridges historical observation with minimalist purity.
