Robin Rhode is an internationally recognized South African multidisciplinary artist whose stop-motion photographic sequences document physical performances interacting with simple chalk and charcoal wall drawings in public streets. Drawing on hip-hop, mathematics, and post-apartheid youth culture, Rhode magically animates inanimate drawn objects through physical human choreography.
