Romina De Novellis is an Italian performance artist and anthropologist known for intense, long-duration bodily performances exploring Mediterranean mourning rituals, female labor, and environmental exploitation. Often trapping herself in cages of fresh roses or embroidering while surrounded by organic food waste in public squares, her works confront patriarchal violence.
