Sofía Táboas explores spatial perception, landscape design, and domestic architecture through sculptures and installations that combine organic and industrial materials. Co-founder of the alternative space Temístocles 44 in the 1990s, Táboas incorporates ceramic tiles, vinyl mosaics, neon lighting, concrete blocks, living plants, and thermal plastic into site-responsive works. Her compositions question the boundaries between exterior and interior environments, public infrastructure, and private shelter.
