Solange Pessoa creates primordial sculptures and installations employing soapstone, bronze, burlap, organic hair, and earth pigments. Rooted in the archaic landscape of Minas Gerais, her work evokes geological time, prehistoric rituals, and cyclical processes of biological fertility and decay.
