Editorial
Art Basel Miami Beach is best understood as part of the broader cultural rhythm of Miami Beach, not simply as a temporary sales floor. The fair brings together gallery programs, artist presentations, and collector activity in a format that makes it possible to read both the local scene and its international connections.
Art Basel Miami Beach is a major December gathering for modern and contemporary art in the Americas, anchoring a dense week of fairs, galleries, museums, and independent projects.
Why go
For the scale and intensity of Miami Art Week: blue-chip material, Latin American strength, younger satellite fairs, museums, private collections, and an entire city in art mode.
