Editorial
FOG is one of the clearest expressions of the Bay Area’s particular art-and-design culture: materially adventurous, collector-driven, and less interested in separating fine art from objects, furniture, craft, and architecture. Its Fort Mason setting gives the fair room to feel social without becoming anonymous, while FOG FOCUS creates a useful counterweight of younger and regional programs.
Why go
For a distinctly Bay Area mix of contemporary art, collectible design, strong West Coast galleries, and unusually good installation moments.
