Editorial
Photo Basel is best understood as part of the broader cultural rhythm of Basel, not simply as a temporary sales floor. The fair brings together gallery programs, artist presentations, and collector activity in a format that makes it possible to read both the local scene and its international connections.
A Basel photography fair dedicated to historic and contemporary photographic practices during the city's June art week.
Why go
For a concentrated look at photography as an art form—across historical, contemporary, experimental, and market-facing practices—without having to filter through a general fair.
