MoMA Design Store
MoMA established the first curatorial department of design anywhere in 1932, and the Design Store's point of view descends directly from it. Objects are selected in consultation with the museum's curators against the criteria of quality, originality and function, and the store operates from 53rd Street and Soho in New York. Reissues of collection designs sit beside contemporary production.
