Printed Matter

Printed Matter was founded in 1976 by a group including Sol LeWitt, Lucy Lippard and Pat Steir, and is a non-profit organisation devoted to artists' books and artist-run publications. From its Chelsea storefront in New York it distributes, publishes and exhibits work in the form, and organises the New York and Los Angeles Art Book Fairs.
