Alexander Rodchenko

Alexander Rodchenko helped define Constructivism by moving from abstract painting into photography, graphic design, architecture and mass communication. In 1921 he exhibited three monochromes as a declared end point of painting, then redirected his practice toward socially useful forms of production.
