Lyubov Popova

Lyubov Popova moved rapidly through Cubo-Futurism and Suprematism before becoming a central Constructivist. After the Revolution, she redirected abstraction toward theater, textile and mass production, arguing that artists should participate in the design of everyday life. She died of scarlet fever at thirty-five.
