Artist
David Hammons
b. 1943 · American
David Hammons has developed an elusive, materially inventive practice from body prints, hair, snowballs, basketball hoops, liquor bottles, tarps and found urban materials. He often works outside conventional exhibition systems and uses withholding, humor and misdirection as part of the practice.
