Across Photography; video; installation; archival practice, Dor Guez has developed a practice centered on family archives and regional histories used to examine Palestinian, Christian, Jewish and Israeli identities through contested forms of memory. The work is best understood in relation to Contemporary art; postcolonial memory, where material choices and visual structure carry as much weight as subject matter.
