Fiona Banner aka The Vanity Press investigates the limits of language, military hardware, and historical conflict through monumental wordscapes and decommissioned fighter aircraft. Shortlisted for the Turner Prize in 2002, her practice questions how violence and spectacle are mediated through text and bronze.
