Frank Walter (1926–2009) was an Antiguan polymath, philosopher, and painter who produced thousands of visionary works in near total isolation on a hilltop in Antigua. Working on circular cardboard carton lids, photograph backs, and scrap wood, Walter depicted Caribbean landscapes, astronomical cosmologies, and Scottish royal genealogies, representing Antigua and Barbuda posthumously at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017.
