Artist
František Kupka
1871–1957 · Czech-born French
František Kupka moved from Symbolist and satirical illustration toward some of the earliest fully abstract paintings in Europe. Color, music, motion and scientific diagrams all informed works that developed independently but in dialogue with the Parisian avant-garde.
