Working across Installation; sculpture; performance, Kendell Geers is a South African artist whose practice focuses on violence, politics, language and institutional power addressed through charged symbols and confrontational materials. The work sits in conversation with Contemporary conceptual art, developing its own language through sustained attention to material, image and context.
