Painting

Leidy Churchman produces wide-ranging, contemplative paintings that draw from Tibetan Buddhism, iPhone browser screenshots, natural fauna, and modernist masterworks. Approaching painting as an open cognitive field of consciousness, Churchman's varied scales and brushwork embrace all visible phenomena with non-hierarchical curiosity.
