Melik Ohanian explores temporal consciousness, labor migration, astronomy, and political memory through complex cinematic environments. Awarded the Golden Lion at the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015 as part of the Armenian National Pavilion, Ohanian choreographs multi-screen installations and astronomical clocks that examine how historical events and scientific phenomena resonate across vast geographic distances.
