Takesada Matsutani

Takesada Matsutani joined the Gutai Art Association in 1963 and became known for inflated vinyl forms whose bulging surfaces were shaped by glue, heat and gravity. After moving to Paris in 1966, he developed a long-running practice of dense graphite fields, drips and repetitive gestures.
