Tony Oursler is a pioneering American video and installation artist who broke the television monitor frame by projecting moving video recordings of talking faces onto distorted cloth effigies, fiberglass spheres, and plumes of smoke. His uncanny psychological sculptures examine digital technology, psychosis, and media addiction.
