William E. Jones is an American artist associated with Conceptual media art. Across Film; video; photography, the work investigates found films, archives and social histories reedited to examine sexuality, labor, surveillance and political image-making. Meaning develops through the relationship between process, display and lived cultural experience rather than through a single signature motif.
