Frieze Week London 2026

PAD, Frieze, Frieze Masters and 1-54

Discover-Art editorial preview · Information checked October 12, 2026

London’s autumn fair week moves across three parts of the city: design in Mayfair, contemporary and historical art in The Regent’s Park, and art from Africa and its diasporas on the Strand. Choose a few presentations to look at closely, then follow the artists and galleries that stay with you.

Our focus is October 13–18. Preview access varies by fair, and an invitation to one does not grant admission to another. Confirm tickets through the official links below.

PAD London

Founded in 2007 on Berkeley Square, PAD London is dedicated to 20th-century decorative arts and contemporary collectible design. Look at material, scale and making: how an object would occupy a room, and where function meets sculpture.

Collectors preview runs Tuesday, October 13, 11am–8pm, and the VIP opening Wednesday, October 14, 11am–8pm. Public days are October 15–17, 11am–7pm, and Sunday, October 18, 11am–6pm.

Frieze London

Frieze London brings leading contemporary galleries and experimental younger programs to The Regent’s Park. Use it as the broad contemporary survey of the week, then make your own smaller route through it.

Frieze London and Frieze Masters run October 14–18. Preview eligibility and public admission times are set by Frieze; check the official fair pages before you plan your visit.

Frieze Masters

A short walk across the park, Frieze Masters places antiquities, old masters and modern material in dialogue with the contemporary fair. The two fairs are about a 15-minute walk apart, so the two are easy to pair in one Regent’s Park visit.

1-54 London

At Somerset House, 1-54 centers contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora through gallery presentations, artist projects and a talks program. Follow the presenting gallery links to understand each artist’s wider practice.

1-54 runs October 15–18. The VIP and press preview is Thursday, October 15, 11am–7pm. Public days are October 16–17, 11am–7pm, and October 18, 11am–6pm, at Somerset House, Strand, WC2R 1LA.

A suggested rhythm for the week

This is an editorial suggestion, not a reservation or a confirmed personal itinerary.
