Paris Art Week 2026
Five fairs, distinct perspectives
Paris Art Week rewards a selective approach. This guide connects five fairs through their different perspectives: international contemporary art, independent gallery programs, collectible design, Asian art, and artistic practices from Africa and its diasporas. Choose a few places to look closely, then follow the artists and galleries that stay with you.
Our focus is October 20–25. Preview access varies by event, and an invitation to one fair does not grant admission to another. The official visitor links below are the place to confirm admission before setting out.

Paris Internationale
Founded by a group of galleries in 2015, Paris Internationale brings its twelfth edition to Quai de Valmy. Its gallery-led approach makes it a useful place to follow individual programs and discover connections between artists and smaller organizations.
Start with the special projects. The announced program pairs Anne Bourse with Crèvecoeur, Agata Ingarden with Berthold Pott and Dean Sameshima with Good or Trash. NEXT: KOREA GALLERIES presents “Second Nature.” These are researched starting points, not reviews of presentations we have visited.
The venue matters to the visit: its ground floor is step-free, while upper exhibition floors require stairs. The organizer lists Louis Blanc, Métro line 7, as the nearby station. Check booking and access details before arrival.

Design Miami Paris
Design Miami’s fourth Paris edition takes place at L’hôtel de Maisons. The mansion, courtyard and garden give the fair an architectural context worth considering alongside the objects on display.
Our editorial approach here is to look at material, scale and use: how an object occupies a room, how it is made, and where functional design meets sculpture. Leave time for individual presentations rather than treating the fair as an inventory.
October 20 is invitation-only: members preview runs 10am–3pm, followed by the collectors preview from 3–7pm. Public show days run October 21–24, 11am–7pm, and October 25, 11am–6pm.

Asia NOW
Asia NOW returns to Monnaie de Paris for its twelfth edition. The 2026 theme, “Sentimental Value,” considers how objects acquire significance through memory, attachment and the lives surrounding them. This gives visitors a useful question to carry through the fair: what histories does a material or object hold?
Look beyond the gallery booths to the daily program, special projects, performances and Cinema NOW. Confirm individual event times through the official schedule.
Visitor hours are October 20–24, 11am–7pm. The official information page currently lists standard admission at €15 and a three-day pass at €30, with reduced rates available. Recheck prices when booking.

Art Basel Paris
Art Basel Paris takes place October 23–25. Use it as the broad survey in your week, then make your own smaller route through it: a handful of gallery presentations, artists you want to understand better, and works you want to return to.
Our recommended approach is to choose a few priorities before arriving and leave room for unexpected discoveries. The Discover-Art fair page can connect those encounters to gallery and artist profiles, extending the visit beyond the booth.

AKAA
AKAA takes place October 23–25 at the Carreau du Temple, supporting the visibility of African and Afrodescendant artists. A specific focus for this edition is the new AKAA PHOTO space, announced in connection with the bicentenary of photography.
Photography offers a strong entry point: look for how artists construct memory, describe changing cities and revisit inherited images. Follow the presenting gallery links to understand each artist’s wider practice.
