About
Tate Modern presents international modern and contemporary art in the former Bankside Power Station in London. Herzog & de Meuron’s conversion opened in 2000, giving the collection an industrial setting with unusually large spaces.
Why visit
Let scale guide part of the visit: move between individual works and larger installations, and notice how the former power station changes their impact. Check which temporary exhibitions require separate tickets.
