Avish Khebrehzadeh is an internationally acclaimed Iranian-American artist who won the Golden Lion for Young Italian Artists at the 50th Venice Biennale in 2003. Combining delicate graphite and oil-wash drawings with gentle hand-drawn video animations projected directly onto canvases, her works explore ancient storytelling, human-animal bonds, and displacement.
