Július Koller
1939–2007 · Slovak
Július Koller developed a distinctive conceptual practice from text, amateur sport, public situations and the recurring U.F.O. motif. Working in socialist Czechoslovakia, he created 'anti-happenings' and simple actions that resisted official cultural structures through everyday participation.
