Lina Bo Bardi

Lina Bo Bardi was an architect, curator, designer and writer whose work transformed Brazilian modernism through an unusually social understanding of space. Her major buildings include the glass-and-concrete Casa de Vidro, the Museu de Arte de São Paulo with its suspended gallery volume and glass easels, and SESC Pompéia, which converted a former factory into a dense civic and recreational complex.
