Nigel Cooke

Nigel Cooke is a British artist working across Painting. The practice centers on figures, landscapes and abstract passages that combine painterly virtuosity with a deliberately unstable sense of scale and narrative. In relation to Contemporary painting, formal decisions remain closely tied to the cultural, social and material conditions surrounding the work.
