Niyoko Ikuta is a pioneer of Japanese architectural glass sculpture who constructs dynamic, light-refracting compositions by layering hand-cut sheets of clear plate glass. Bonded with optical adhesive into soaring wave-like parabolas, her sculptures capture the ethereal essence of flowing water and solar rays.
