Artist
Yves Klein
1928–1962 · French
Yves Klein built a short, highly influential career around immateriality, monochrome color and the performative construction of artistic myth. His International Klein Blue paintings, Anthropometries made with painted bodies, void exhibitions, fire works and Zones of Immaterial Pictorial Sensibility all tested the limits of the artwork as object.
