Lee Kun-Yong is the foundational father of Korean performance and conceptual art, and leader of the Space and Time (ST) group. Renowned for his legendary Bodyscape series—where marks are drawn from behind the canvas, over his shoulders, or while constrained by bodily reach—Lee reduced painting to the physical index of human presence.
